Mundo Deportivo, the Spanish sports newspaper published in Barcelona revealed in published edition on Tuesday that Barcelona has determined the strategy that it will follow in the negotiations to renew the contract of French striker Osman Dembele in the coming period.
Dembele's contract with Barcelona expires at the end of the current season, and so far Barca has not succeeded in reaching an agreement with the player's agent regarding the renewal of the contract, and if this continues, he will leave for free next summer.

Barcelona's strategy with Dembele is based on 4 pillars

The Spanish newspaper pointed out in its report that the strategy set by Barcelona to deal with the Dembele case is based on 4 pillars. The first and most important of which is that the club will set a one-month deadline for the player to agree or refuse to renew the contract. 
Barcelona's idea is to put an end to the procrastination of Ousmane Dembele's agent in the negotiations, because the club does not want to lose him for free in the summer. Therefore, the player will have only one month to study the offer, and if they do not reach an agreement, it will be offered for sale in the winter transfer window.
The second pillar is represented in Barcelona's desire to negotiate with Dembele himself directly, because his agent looks at the matter from a financial point of view only, and works to remove the player from Barca in order to get a better salary.
