Mohamed Salah: I will not retire before the age of 40 and aspire to win the Golden Ball

In an interview with "Sky Sports", the Egyptian international superstar Mohamed Salah and Liverpool winger, confirmed that the possible date for his retirement  is at the age of 40, and he also talked about his chances of winning the Golden Ball award , presented to the FIFA World Cup tournament's best player.
The Egyptian legend, Mohamed Salah, is in his peak of glow with Liverpool this season, especially after he has scored twelve goals in various competitions so far.
In his an interview with "Sky Sports", Liverpool's top scorer spoke about the important match encounter on Sunday against Manchester United, revealing the possibility of his winning the Golden Ball, and also spoke about the date of his retirement date on the pitch.
When asked about “the possibility of his level declining after the age of 30 and the date of his retirement,” Salah told “Sky Sports”: “I do not think that my performance will decline at the age of thirty. There are great players like: Messi and Ronaldo, so far they are performing very well.”
"I think I'm also at my best level now, so I can keep playing until I'm 38 or 39, maybe we'll see," he continued. Commenting on the possibility of winning the Golden Ball despite approaching the age of 30, Salah replied: “I think that Ronaldo won the Golden Ball after the age of 30 many times, he won it three or four times.”
He added: “Messi won it two or three times after thirty, and maybe Lewandowski would have won it last season, but something happened and he did not win it.”
He continued: “Benzema is now at his best after the age of thirty, and Luis Suarez is the same, football has changed a lot at the moment, and most of the players after the age of 32 or 33 are at their best and are doing excellent performances.”
On the possibility of winning the Golden Ball, Salah laughed: “I hope it will be the first Golden Ball this season.”
